Jessica Shannon Parker

February 13, 1997 ~ June 2, 2018 (age 21)

Jessica Shannon Parker, 21, of Troutman, North Carolina passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the 2nd of June 2018. She was born on the 13th of February 1997 to Mr. Richard Parker and Mrs. Jennifer Parker (Borst) at Lake Norman Medical Center in Mooresville, North Carolina. Jessica is graduate of South Iredell High School (Statesville, NC) and was a member of their United States Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Corps (MCJROTC). Jessica was a member of Triplett United Methodist Church, where she found her Lord and Savior. Jessica was baptized on the 10 th of September 2017 by Reverend Dr. Rick Auten, Pastor where she was welcomed and loved by the members of Triplett United Methodist Church.

Jessica is survived in life by her loving parents, sister Madison, fiancé Nolan Schenn, grandmother Vicki Gordon, Grandparents Ray and Donna Borst, half-sister Stephanie Cecil, too many aunts and uncles, and cousins to mention. She is preceded in death by her grandfather’s Michael R. Gordon, SR and James R. Parker, and grandmother Ernestine Parker.

Anyone and everyone that knows Jessica, knows she has a bubbly personality with an infectious laugh. She was known to all to be a “True Southerner” meaning she has never met a stranger. Jessica was always very straightforward, honest, kind, helping, and loving to all whom she had contact with. She always had a positive attitude, positive outlook on life and others, found the good in others, and very supportive and encouraging to those whom she met. Jessica had high ambitions of becoming a Registered Nurse, so she could continue helping others in their time of need. She was currently working in healthcare in a career field she honestly cherished and loved.

Jessica had an inseparable bond with Madison (her sister) and was truly a best friend to her mother (Jennifer). She found the love of her life and her soulmate, Nolan Schenn, at such a young age. Anyone and everyone that knew the two of them could see their unconditional love for one another. Jessica had a bond that was strong, unbreakable, and like no other with her grandmother Vicki. She did not always see Vicki as “grand-mom” but yet an honest, straightforward, nurturing, caring, loving, and confidant whom was always there for her no matter what or what time.

Jessica lived her life to the fullest and would want us to “Celebrate” her life and eternal journey with her grandparents. Jessica is truly loved by many and will be missed by all!

In lieu of flowers, anyone whom would like to donate money to Jessica’s mother (Ms. Jennifer Parker, 232 Shenandoah Loop, Troutman, NC 28166) to help offset Jessica’s funeral and medical costs would be greatly appreciated.
