Ann Roberts Harper

Ann Roberts Harper (66) passed away peacefully on April 5th 2026 after a valiant fight to the very end with breast cancer. Ann and husband Tom lived in Concord NC. For 20 years Ann and her husband would run Tom’s Appliance Repair while also homeschooling their daughters. Ann was a 4-H chapter leader for 10 years and she also enjoyed volunteering at the Church nursery. Ann was born on September 15th 1959 to the late Harvey and Olga Roberts in Rocky Mount, NC. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Howard Thomas Harper , daughters Adele Lloyd, Anna Kay Pickney, Barbara Harper, stepson Michael Harper , brothers Cash Roberts, Robbie Roberts and Richard Roberts; and 4 grandchildren.

Ann loved making plants and flowers grow and always had color and greenery on her porch and yard. She also spread joy and beauty with the thoughtful crafts she made. Ann also was a wonderful cook and baker of comfort food , homemade breads and beautiful cakes.

There will be a celebration of life service at Crossroads Church 220 George Liles Parkway in Concord, NC Thursday April 23rd with visitation at 1:30 and 2 pm service. In lieu of flowers donations if wished may be made to support the breast cancer organization of your choice.
