Camden Anniha Rosner

Camden Anniha Rosner, 28, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Charlotte, NC on Sunday September 24, 2023. Camden was born on May 28, 1995, to Tracy (Rosner) Bey and Marc Valeriano in Charlotte, NC.  At the tender age of 1 ½ years old, she moved to Waterbury, CT and was raised by her paternal grandmother, Armonda Valeriano, and her great-grandparents, Elder Glenn and Jane Dansby. Camden attended public school in Waterbury, and it was during those years that she made many lasting friendships. She was a gifted artist with many talents. At a very early age, Camden developed a passion for cosmetology.  Camden moved back to Charlotte at the age of 15 to finish her educational career. Of all the things Camden achieved, her greatest accomplishment was being a devoted, nurturing, and proud mother. Her personality is reflected in each of her children, and they are her beacons of light that will continue to shine amongst us.  Camden was a loyal and trustworthy friend who everyone was able to count on whether near or far.

Camden leaves to remember and honor her life; her children Cameron McClellan, Trevón Hampton Jr., and Londyn Hampton. She also leaves to cherish her memory; fiancé, Trevón Hampton Sr.; mother, Tracy (Rosner) Bey; father, Marc Valeriano; brother, Illiyun Bey; paternal grandmother, Armonda Valeriano; great-grandfather, Elder Glenn Dansby Sr; maternal grandfather, Lewie H. Rosner; uncles, Brett Wilkes and Lewie A. Rosner; aunts, Yvette (Wilkes) Haughton, Shannon Rosner, and Louise Gibson; special cousins Brittney and Nia Wilkes. She will be missed by a host of close friends and loving family. She was predeceased by her paternal great-grandmother, Evangelist Jane Dansby (Grammy); maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Braswell; and brother Brandon Truesdale.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 10:00am at Raymer-Kepner Chapel located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
