Christopher Dixon Casey

Christopher Dixon Casey, 58, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Levine & Dixon Hospice House at Southminster in Charlotte, NC.

Chris was born October 20, 1966 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Marion L. Casey, Jr. and Grace Irene Casey. A graduate of Dorman High School, Chris was the oldest of four children. He was a valued lab technician with Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center for 30+ years. Chris was a quick-witted introvert who enjoyed traveling, camping, and thrifting.

Chris is survived by his siblings; Brian O'Neal Casey, Mary Elizabeth Lister (husband Chad), and Marion Ann Weeks (husband Dusty). He is also survived by his nephews; Rhegan Weeks (wife Tori), Jack Debolt, Dylan Casey, and Colton Weeks. Chris was predeceased by his partner of 36 years Patrick Latham.
