Daniel Moriarty

Daniel Moriarty passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 95. Born in Ireland on July 14, 1931, Daniel lived a long life and will be remembered with love by those who knew him. His passing marks the close of a life that spanned many years and held deep meaning for his family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Moriarty, by his daughter, Maureen Moriarty,  and his ten brothers and sisters. Their memories remained an important part of his life and of the family they shared.

He is survived by his daughter, Eileen McCabe, by his grandchildren, Kelly McCabe and Jack McCabe, and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family, who carry forward his memory with love and gratitude.

Daniel will be remembered for being a dedicate father, grandfather, and loyal friend. He was a good buddy to those who joined him fishing and hunting.  

Daniel will be laid to rest with his wife at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. A date will be finalized in the coming days.
