She is also survived by her uncle, Greg Hatcher; her aunt, Trudie Hatcher; her cousin, Delecia Hatcher; and her best friend, Deb Williams, along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

EJ was preceded in death by her father, David Dinkins, and her mother, Jessie Carter Dinkins. Their love and values shaped her life and continue to resonate through her family.
