Edward Murray

Edward Murray 81 of Harrisburg, NC passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2026.

He was born to the late Richard Murray Sr and Frances E Pinckney on November 8, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA where he was also raised.

His Wall Street dreams brought him to NY where he was introduced to the love of his life by his mother. He was then drafted to go into the army and served as a medic in Vietnam. When he came back, he married Barbara V. Christie.

Family was very important to Ed. He would do anything for them expecting nothing in return. When he gave, it was from the heart!

He is survived by his wife Barbara V. Murray of 57 years, his daughter Francine (Jermaine), their son Edward (Tricia), their daughter Venita, Grandchildren: Khamesher, Shaaim, Cyrus, Ayden, Sammy, Aaron and Kimara, his fur babies Ming & Tyson and extended family.
