Glenna Diane Smith, 70, passed away June 15, 2017 at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Diane was born on April 3, 1947 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late James and Jeanette Moss.

She is survived by her brother, Rodney (Jane) Moss; aunt, Doris; grand-daughter, Megan (Jeremy) Stephens; great grand-daughter, Belle Rose; sister in law, Barbara (David) Morgan; brother in law, David Smith (Ida), daughter in law, Tammy Davidson; niece, Meredith (Stacy) Hammill; nephew, Scott Moss;great niece Ellie Hammill; great nephew, Jake Hord; a host of cousins, and loving companion Rocky.

Diane loved her neighbors and enjoyed being around friends and family.  She enjoyed reading and going to the beach as much as she could.  Diane had a great heart and loved keeping in touch with her family with a daily phone call.  She retired from Children’s Developmental Services Agency after 20 years of service.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Smith and her son, Jeffery Brian Davidson.

A memorial service will be held at Coldwater Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11am.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, North Carolina.
