Helen Teresa Santoiemma, born April 11, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Harrisburg, North Carolina.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jacqueline LaCava, and her brothers, John and Frank LaCava.

She is survived by her loving sisters Ann Marie Topper and Francine Blackford; Her devoted husband, Michael Santoiemma; her children, Nicholas Santoiemma and his wife Samantha, Michael Santoiemma and his wife Jennifer, and Nicole Santoiemma and her spouse Jason; and her cherished grandchildren, Evan, Jaren, Madeline, Julian, Marion, Aiden, Jonathan, and Owen.

Helen will be remembered for her warm, beautiful smile and her bubbly energy that lit up every room she entered. She loved to cook and entertain, finding joy in bringing people together around food, laughter, and conversation. Known for her sense of humor, Helen could laugh at herself and bring comfort and joy to those around her with ease. She also knew how to light up a dance floor!

Above all, Helen’s greatest love was her family. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
