Janice Gilmore Fowler, a dedicated and loving wife, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on November 6, 2023, at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born on January 18, 1943, in Jamestown, North Carolina to the late Moses Clayton Gilmore and Eula Mae Lucas Gilmore.

Janice was a true homemaker in every sense of the word. She not only took care of her family with love and devotion but also played a significant role in supporting her husband after he suffered a car accident. Her strong will and huge heart for others were evident in her actions, as she often put the needs of others ahead of her own.

One of Janice's greatest joys in life was her Christian faith. She found solace and inspiration in attending church regularly and embraced the teachings with all her heart. Her unwavering faith guided her through life's ups and downs and provided her with strength during difficult times.

Cooking was another passion that brought Janice immense joy. Gathering around the table with loved ones, she would prepare delicious meals that not only nourished their bodies but also created cherished memories.

Janice had a deep love for animals, particularly horses. She believed that animals held a special place in this world and was known to care for them with tender affection.
