Joy Marlene Harry

Joy Marlene Harry passed away April 11, 2017 at her home in Harrisburg, NC.

Joy was born on October 25, 1933 to the late Kinard and Gladys Jones of Baltimore, Maryland.

She is survived by her sons Ronald Harry (Martha) and Michael Harry (Vanessa); daughter Denise Taylor (Elmer); sisters Clarice Hilton and May Barns; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Joy was a loving and kind mother, sister and friend.  She loved children and dedicated her life to education.  As a school teacher she worked hard to educate children and prepare them for a bright future.  Joy loved to travel and see the world.  She especially liked taking cruises.
