He never met a stranger; everyone in Justin’s presence quickly felt at ease, whether drawn in by his laughter, his stories, or the gentle pranks he loved to pull.

Justin Monroe Measimer, born on February 13, 1990, in Cabarrus County, NC, passed away on August 15, 2026, in Concord, NC. In his 36 years, Justin touched countless lives with his humor, and an open-hearted spirit that made every room brighter.

A beloved son, brother, father, and friend, Justin is survived by his mother, Angie Stirewalt Measimer of Kannapolis; his child, Braidyn Allen Measimer of Kannapolis; his siblings, Casey Measimer (Shea Smith) of Kannapolis and Guy "Dylan" Measimer (Destiney) of Kannapolis; and his cherished nephew and niece, Beau Measimer and Mallory Measimer. He is preceded in death by his father, Scott Measimer. 

Justin’s life was defined by the connections he formed and the kindness he showed to others. He never met a stranger; everyone in Justin’s presence quickly felt at ease, whether drawn in by his laughter, his stories, or the gentle pranks he loved to pull. Always ready with a joke, he could lift the spirits of those around him and was known for his happy disposition and ability to make others both smile and laugh. 

He found joy in music and spending time with his niece and nephew. Justin felt most at peace outdoors, especially while fishing, an activity he treasured and loved sharing with his brothers. Nature and animals held a special place in his life, providing both solace and inspiration. Many joyful days were spent on watersides.

Justin’s absence is felt deeply by all who knew him, yet the legacy of his kindness, humor, and generosity continues to inspire those left behind. He leaves behind memories filled with laughter, gentle acts of compassion, and the enduring reminder to find joy in every day and treat others with kindness.

Though lost too soon, Justin’s light remains in the stories shared by friends and family, in the laughter of his loved ones, and in every act of kindness passed forward in his memory.
