Kendrick “Ken” Donal Boller, 48, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2026, at Atrium Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, North Carolina.
Ken was born on September 20, 1977, in Statesville, North Carolina, to Debra Ann Boller and David Lewis Wood. On February 23, 2001, he married the love of his life, Ebony Shaniece Noble.
Ken became a licensed commercial truck driver in 2000 and worked for several concrete companies throughout his career. In addition, he owned and operated a successful auto detailing and power washing business, Clean Image USA.
Ken was incredibly gifted and talented with his hands. He loved drawing and oil painting on a variety of surfaces, creating dozens of paintings that he later sold as prints. If you asked Ken to clean anything, he would leave it spotless—“crisp like new money,” as many would say. He also enjoyed traveling, trying new foods, and cooking, a skill he learned from his cousin Norris Jr.
A man of deep faith, Ken generously gave his time and financial resources to support many churches over the years. Though quiet and mild-tempered, he was a wonderful listener and a dependable friend who was always willing to help others. Ken had a dry sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh with his witty comments and expressive facial expressions.
He was also an incredible caregiver to his wife, Ebony, during her illness and a phenomenal uncle to his nieces Lashawn Mack, Kairi Hall, and Lavender Yesher El.
Ken leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ebony Shaniece Boller of New Bern, North Carolina; his mother, Debra Ann Boller of Statesville, North Carolina; his sisters, April Wood of Texas, Jasmine Whisonant of Ladson, South Carolina, Davanna Wood of Salisbury, North Carolina, and Shakia Boller of Statesville, North Carolina; his brothers, Lamont Summers of Troutman, North Carolina, Demario Whisonant of Salisbury, North Carolina, Demetres Whisonant of Salisbury, North Carolina, Tykilius Whisonant of Statesville, North Carolina, and Damon Wood of Salisbury, North Carolina, and his sister-in-law Lorina Noble. He is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Lewis Wood; his stepfather, Ricky Huffin; his grandmother, Emma Boller; and his uncles, Willie Lee Boller and Charles Boller.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on March 15, 2026, at Raymer-Kepner Chapel, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, North Carolina 28078. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A repass will follow the service.
