"She lived with grace, gave with generosity, and loved without limits."

Lynette Maureen Wortham, affectionately known as "Nettie," passed away in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion.

Born on November 30, 1953, in Berlin, New Jersey, Nettie moved with her parents, Raymond and Dorothea Davis, to Camden, NJ at the age of one. A proud product of Camden's public school system, she later dedicated many years to the Camden Board of Education, shaping young minds and serving her community. After retiring, she began a second career in healthcare—caring tenderly for the elderly, a reflection of her deep compassion and nurturing spirit.

Nettie was a woman of many passions. She had a lifelong love of swimming and found peace and joy in the water. In her final years, she joined her daughter Danielle Robinson in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she spent the last years of her life surrounded by new friends and a supportive community. While In North Carolina she enjoyed the beaches, she loved dining out at local restaurants and enjoyed quality time with her grandchildren. She also gave her life to the lord while living in North Carolina.

Nettie's greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother to Fillmore Michael Davis and Danielle Lynette Robinson, a loving grandmother to Ja'ana Jordan, Jordyn Robinson, and Blayke Robinson, and a proud great-grandmother to Rio Jordan and granddogs Creed and Fendi. She is also survived by her siblings: Michele Rene Mccrea, Brenda Davis, Raymond Davis, Brian Davis. Nettie was the cherished godmother to Kia Reed, Cynthia Hughes, Darius Carroway, and a host of nieces and nephews all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by Her parents and sisters Virginia Turner and Joann Fortune

Her warm heart, gentle wisdom, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. Whether through her career, her friendships, or her role within her family, Nettie made an unforgettable impact that will continue to echo in the lives she touched. She was known for her personality of being funny and quick witted. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and advocate for her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
