Mary Schroth

Mary Schroth of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at the age of 72. She was the beloved widow of the late Craig Schroth and a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her two sons, Tyler Craig Schroth and Austin Carl Schroth and his wife, Beverly, all of Charlotte. She was the proud and loving grandmother of her two granddaughters, Penny (13) and Sadie (11), who were the lights of her life. Mary also leaves behind her sisters, Candyce Potter of Altamonte Springs, FL; Betsy Pemberton of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and her brother, Mike Potter of Apopka, FL.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home on March 14 at 1:00 p.m. In honor of Mary’s love for flowers and bright colors, guests are encouraged to dress colorfully rather than in black.
