Mikey attended New York City Public Schools until he relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed his High School education and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 2014.
Mikey was a fun loving individual. He had an infectious personality. His jolly laughter and warm, loving smile lit up every room he entered. Mikey was the ultimate practical joker, everyone who encountered him was sure to experience one of his many pranks, no one was off limits. Mikey always had a way of cheering up his loved ones and friends.
Mikey took great pride in taking care of his paternal grandparents Larkin and Dianna Brown. There was nothing he would not do for them. His grandparents’ wishes were his commands. Mikey’s grandparents were his true rock and foundation throughout his entire life.
Mikey was the ultimate “fixer” of all things and was always willing to lend a helping hand, even to strangers. This was a trait he inherited from his dad whom he loved with all his heart.
Mikey was able to exhibit his ability and talents in his occupation as a Construction Laborer.
Mikey had an unbreakable relationship with his siblings and held a special bond with all of his cousins that was second to none.
Family gatherings were Mikey’s favorite pastime and happiest moments. He always enjoyed cooking for everyone. He also admired all makes and models of automobiles since he was a little boy. His knowledge on how engines and parts worked were impeccable. He also enjoyed detailing cars as a hobby with his dad and uncles. He loved listening to Rod Wave songs and traveling.
Mikey had a passion for nature, cats, dogs and just about any other creature he encountered. While living in Charlotte, North Carolina, he frequently embraced creatures that found their way out of the woods and on his front porch.
Mikey departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024. While we mourn Michael’s passing we also celebrate the incredible impact he made during his time with us. God was ready for him, but our hearts were not.
Michael leaves to cherish his precious memories: his father Michael Frederick Brown, Sr; his bonus mother, Monique Brown; his grandparents, Larkin and Dianna Brown; seven siblings, Romieka, Nayshaun(Jessica), Elijah, Mikesha, Lionel, Justin and Amina; four Uncles, John (Deann), Larkin (Keisha), Kevin, William; two Aunts, Karen, Yolanda; Three great Aunts; Francine, Edith, Victoria; 4 Great Uncles Leonard, Frederick, Ronald, Anthony; Three nephews, Julian, Mehki, Elijah; a host of cousins, loving family and friends.
Our Beloved Son, Grandson, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend Michael was preceded in death by his Mother Rhonda Holloway.
