Michael Allen Heafner

Michael Heafner, 60, passed away January 30, 2018 at home in Charlotte, NC surrounded by his loving family. 

A Charlotte native, he was born March 4, 1957 to the late Clayton and Mary Heafner.

Michael is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver for the last year, Ann Carlson; son Chris; daughter Ashley; sister Donna Allen; nephew Allen (Jessica) McWhorter; niece Mary (Aaron) Brown; and beloved dog Cela.

He is preceded in death by his brother Vance Heafner.

An avid golfer, Michael was the former owner of Eastwood Golf Club. He was known by his family as a free spirit and lover of classic rock music. Michael will be dearly missed, never forgotten, and always loved.

For all the times I have swung a club.
For the many friends  and the game I love.
For the patience I have found in sand or rough.
For the excitement of making shots thought tough.
For success in not measured by holes in one,
But by the times that are shared when you are having fun.
Lord would you grant me one last request,
