Michael Wayne Thomas

Michael Wayne Thomas, 48, of Concord, NC passed away on February 21, 2020. Wayne was born in Charlotte, NC on January 1, 1972 to Mackie Thomas and Robin Winslow.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Thomas; children, Nichole Hutchinson, Kassidy Gugliotti, Kole Thomas, Kody Thomas; granddaughter, Giannah Gugliotti; grandmother, (Granny) Shirley Stewart; parents, Robin and Wayne Winslow, Mackie and Evelyn Thomas; siblings, April Glessner, Kasie Ooley, Rebecca Martinez, and Judy Sherrill.

Wayne worked in the construction industry doing project management. He was a family man first, but friends always knew who to call when they needed a hand. He loved to cheer on his kids from the sidelines in all their activities. His children all call him “THE BEST DAD EVER.”

In his spare time, he loved to fish, cook, and do woodwork. Most importantly, he was a man of God. He impacted everyone he came in contact with. He is loved and will be missed by many.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 12:00PM at Camp Spencer in Concord, NC.
