Nicholas Edward Geesey, 38, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on June 1, 2022.

Nick was born in DeLand FL on February 18, 1984 to Scott Edward Geesey and Wanda Kay (Lingg) Geesey of Hanover PA.

Nick is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard Lingg of DeLand FL, Lenus Geesey and Wanda G Geesey both of Gettysburg PA.

Nick is survived by his wife, Trish (Mumaw) Geesey, daughter Taylor and son Zane. Nick also leaves behind his brother, Theodore Geesey and sister-in-law Ashley (Shultz) Geesey of Hanover PA, his grandmother, Fae Lingg of DeLand, FL, uncle Greg Geesey of Norfolk, VA, and aunts Deb Geesey and husband Chris Bushey of Gettysburg, PA, Pam Chubb and husband Don Chubb of York PA, Linda Beamer and husband Dick Beamer of Hanover PA, Diane Bradley of DeLand FL, and Donna Rebert and husband Steve Rebert of Winchester, VA and as well as numerous cousins. Father and mother-in-law, Terry and Joyce Mumaw of Fort Loramie OH, sister-in-law Beth (Cortland) Harter of Charlotte NC, and brother-in-law Darrin (Olivia) Mumaw of Fort Loramie OH.

Nick loved his family and friends, and adored his children, Taylor and Zane.

Nick graduated in 2002 from South Western High School in Hanover PA before moving on to Pennsylvania State University - State College where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and then on to Auburn University where he earned his MBA.

Nick spent his career working as a Financial Advisor with The Rutherford Group - Merrill Lynch in Charlotte NC before moving on to work as an Independent Financial Advisor.

Nick was a sports enthusiast from the age of 5, playing organized sports through high school. This enthusiasm continued through college and he loved his Penn State Nittany Lions and Auburn Tigers.

Though we are sadden and heartbroken for the loss of Nick at such a young age, we must always hold on to the happy memories and cherish the time we were blessed to have Nick in our lives. He will forever be in our hearts.

No visitation or formal service will be held. A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at a later date.
