Perry Lee Rice

Perry Lee Rice, 62, passed away at his home on February 7, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends.

Perry was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Phillip Rice and Audrey Criswell on May 27, 1959.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Tina Rice, son Michael Rice (Rebeca), daughter Shena Almendarez (Aris), Joshua Rice (Crystal), nine grandchildren Katelynn "Pootyae", Devan, Lleyton, Nya "Monkey", Andres "Bubby", Arleana "Pretties", Brittney, Lili "Willie", Brandon, two great grandchildren Addalynn and Lilliana, sisters Teresa and favorite Deborah, brothers Pete and Jeff, and a host of other family members and friends.

Perry was known to be a funny, giving, and kind-hearted person. He had a heart of gold and always wanted to help others. Family and friends meant the world to him. He loved having them close. Perry enjoyed singing karoke and his go to songs were "Almost Home" and "Paint Me A Birmingham". Most of all he was known for being a good husband, father, brother and friend. He can be heard in Heaven saying "Watch out for that hole!" He will be greatly missed.
