Rhonda S. Kramer

April 21, 1970 — May 25, 2023

On May 25th, 2023, Rhonda S. Kramer passed away at the age of 53 after a long battle with her health.

Rhonda is survived by her mother Donna Prather, son Kelley, daughter McKenna, and brother Dean Prather.

Rhonda was born on April 21st, 1970 on Torrejon Air Force Base, Spain.  She graduated from Iver C. Ranum High School in Denver, Colorado.  She then went on to study at Santa Fe Community College and the University of New Mexico.

Rhonda was married to Kent Kramer from 1990 to 2006.  They welcomed daughter, McKenna in September of 1992 and son Kelley in June of 1994. Rhonda was a wonderful stay at home mom for 11 years before starting her career at Los Alamos Medical Care Clinic then moving onto Los Alamos National Laboratories.  She later went on to work on the Naval cargo vessel USNS Fisher out of Corpus Christi, Texas. Finally ending up in Charlotte, North Carolina working as a Donor and Client Support Specialist Lead for the American Red Cross.  Rhonda had a love of travel and taking cruises to the Caribbean.  She had a special commitment to family and friends, with her devotion and dedication to always being honest and helpful.  Her twisted sense of humor was disarming and warming to those around her, allowing her to lighten the mood in almost any situation.  Rhonda enjoyed walking antique shops and collecting old furniture, books, and trinkets.  She loved animals and had a soft spot for pigs and elephants.

No memorial service or funeral is planned.  As per her wishes, Rhonda’s ashes will be spread in the bay of Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
