Robert Lester Pressley, 82, passed away on January 1, 2019 at his home in Concord, NC.
Robert was born on May 13, 1936 to the late Robert and Tinnie Pressley. He served his country as a member of the United States Army and was known for helping others. Robert was a carpenter and was known for his strong work ethic. He was a good man and the example of love. He showed those close to him he loved them through his actions, not just his words. If anyone needed help, Robert would help them. He was a man who knew the Lord and believed that we are here to help those in our lives. He had a great sense of humor and a great love for animals. Robert never hesitated to help a stray. He loved professional wrestling and NASCAR racing. Robert also filled his spare time by playing his guitar. He was a loving husband, uncle, brother and friend. He will be missed by those who survive him Dolly Shaw, niece; Melissa Drye, caregiver and friend; sister Evelyn; and girlfriend Hazel Drye.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife Hazel Pressley and siblings Rachael, Ray, and JW.
