Semira Bene Clark

Semira Bene Clark aka Chicago was a supernatural light that can never be dimmed. With a smile that healed the world, she was an inspirational force to many. From the purest form of love, her life and her journey was an instructional guide to many who knew her and even those who didn’t. Semira’s strength was unmatched and her power radiated through every expression of her existence. While our hearts will miss her presence, her soul will forever be a guiding light in our lives to remember that no matter how hard things may seem a thumbs up and a “I’m good” can be a reminder to keep going.

As a native of Charlotte, NC Chicago was an avid Carolina Panthers fan who loved watching football with her Dad. Chicago also enjoyed watching movies with her mom, listening to music, and creating and watching TikTok.

Chicago left in love her mother April Clark, her father Curtis Clark, her siblings Shalen Thompson, Neka’ya and Ryan Weaver, and her nephew River Chicago Weaver. In addition, Chicago also leaves in love her Grandmother Eunice Green also known as Nena, her Grandfather Grandpa Dexter (and wife Lao), her Aunts Britney Chapman (and Husband Lawrence), Brandie Wesley, her Uncles Brandon Thompson (and significant other Savannah), Rico Thompson, TJ Hardy (and Wife Norma), her Godparents Janacita Horton and Milt Coleman, with a host of her very close cousins Jayden, Zeaira, Aunyah, Anthony, Gabe, Kyla, Sidnii Rose, Tre, Kaysen, Lyric, Legend, and preceded in death by her grandma Terry Clark-Hooks and her cousin Aniya Thompson.

The family would also like to make an honorable mention of her closest and best friends John Blanton and Ashton Buchanan. Thank you for loving your friend.
