Shaun Kyle Mozingo

Shaun Kyle Mozingo, born on March 25, 1965, in Kenansville, NC, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in Charlotte, NC. He was a beloved figure in the lives of many and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Shaun dedicated 40 years of his life to the service industry, earning a reputation as a remarkable trainer for numerous restaurants. His commitment to excellence, combined with his joyful demeanor, made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working alongside him. Shaun possessed a caring and considerate nature, always able to lighten the mood even during challenging times.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Yet it was in his relationships and family that Shaun truly flourished. He cherished his time with his niece, Olivia Urbanczyk, sharing special moments such as bonding over visits to the nail salon. In a testament to his close relationship with his brother Matthew Summerville, Shaun attended Rob Zombie concerts together on an impressive fifteen occasions.

Shaun's interests extended beyond his career; he had a deep love for the beach and enjoyed experiencing live music. His personality radiated warmth and joy, reflecting his comfort and security in being himself.
