Stephen Henry Tower, Jr.

Stephen Henry Tower Jr., 50, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away on May 1, 2026, at home following a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on July 11, 1975, to Stephen Henry Tower Sr. and the late Diane Ann McCauley.

Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Barbara Sims; his maternal grandparents Cliff and Doris McCauley Sr.; paternal grandparents Bernice Arbour and Henry Tower; stepbrother Jason Arigoni; uncle Cliff McCauley; aunt and uncle Wayne and Michelle Tower.

He leaves his wife of 22 years, Lisa Sims Tower; his sons Stephen Michael Tower, Nickolas Alexander Tower, and Victor Lee Tower (Seth Sartin); his father Stephen (Lynne) Tower; sisters Amy (Jose Arguello) Tower, Shauna Tower; stepsisters Angela (Amine) Mesfioui, April (Miguel) Aguirre; and stepbrother Shane (Lisa) Rivers; nieces Claire Hooks and Diane Arguello; nephews Dylan Hooks and Wyatt Arguello; aunts Marie Hebert, Brenda Piscioneri, Sherrie Tower-Daza; uncles Michael (Sue) McCauley and Gordon (Missy) Tower; many cousins and family friends.

He graduated from Derita Christian Academy in 1993. He began working in construction with his father, which shaped not only his skill but his dedication to a job well done. With determination and a vision, he founded his own company, Steve’s Solutions. He took pride in all his work, and his craftsmanship and commitment will be remembered.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to stay positive, bringing light and laughter to those around him even in difficult times.

Above all, he had a special love for his family and fur babies. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with family—both human and animal.

A memorial service will be held May 9, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Spirit of Joy Church (8600 Potter Rd, Weddington, NC 28104).
