Susan Jobes

Susan (Suzie) Page Jobes, 71, of Concord, North Carolina passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by love and her family.

Suzie was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina on November 8, 1954, to the late Oscar and Ernestine (Teny) Page.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charlie Jobes; her daughter, Stephanie and son-in-law Chad; her son, David and daughter-in-law Stacy; and her grandsons, Cale and Corbin; her sisters Liz, Fran and Nippy and cherished friends.

She adored her family, especially her beloved grandsons, who were the brightest light in her life. Her friendships were true treasures, and she poured her whole heart generously into the people she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle presence brought light wherever she went, and her absence will be deeply felt.

A lover of nature’s quiet beauty, she found joy in life’s simple wonders—flowers bursting into full bloom, the flutter of birds in the yard, and the delicate magic of hummingbirds. She also felt a deep and abiding love for the mountains, the place where she was born and lived part of her life. Nature was her sanctuary, a space where she felt rooted, restored, and quietly joyful in a way that seemed to steady her spirit.

Her love shaped us, and her spirit will remain a part of our family always, carried forward in the traditions she cherished and the memories she so lovingly created.
