Carol Selvey

Carol Dorton Selvey went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2019, after a 36 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born August 14, 1941 in Charlotte NC. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Richard, daughter Leigh Walters (Brian), son Cameron Selvey (Dena), and four grandchildren: Cory Walters, Jacob Selvey, Jessie Walters and Grayson Selvey. She is also survived by her sister Jo Richmond and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Edith Dorton Stuart, and her father Robert Dorton.

Services will be at Rocky River Church in Concord, NC on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Receiving of friends will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30pm with the funeral immediately following. Graveside service to follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, NC. The funeral is being handled by Harrisburg Funeral and Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
