Our Story
Founded in 2015, Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation is a family-owned funeral service that has the mission to help those during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Our goal is to provide quality, affordable funeral services to families in Harrisburg, Concord, and Charlotte Metro areas. We feel that it is an honor to serve, to help, and to love all those in need. Although we are a business, we are people who care about our families and our community.
In 2025, the families of Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation and Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home formalized a more than 10-year partnership. Together, we are dedicated to serving and continuing to let Jesus Christ be the head of our lives. We reflect that in all the decisions we make and how we serve the public. We believe “from everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much more will be asked.” (Luke 12:48) Because of this, we give passionately of our time and talents to make sure that those we serve are served well.
We also believe wholeheartedly that we should support evangelical missions locally and internationally. Jesus said plainly in the Great Commission “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirits, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the earth” Matthew 28:19-20. Although we do travel and participate in various mission trips, we think it is important to support full time missionaries and mission organizations.
